About Girl Motor

The Company

Girl Motor was started in 2000. The idea behind the group was to use the underwriting knowledge and contacts that we had been using since 1968 and apply it to the online Internet market to provide car insurance for a woman driver. The company is a trading name of Hyperformance Ltd, which has been specialising in the following motor insurance markets for many years:

- Woman driver
- Young drivers
- Convicted drivers
- Sport Car drivers

We have outstanding relationships with Lloyd's syndicates and major European Insurers, which allows us to negotiate the most competitive womens car insurance premiums around.

As a result of 35 years worth of experience, we have unparalleled access to unique schemes on both the Lloyds markets and with traditional motor insurance companies. We deal with 35 companies who between them offer around 150 schemes from female provisional driver to a company director with motoring convictions.

Girl Motor is proud to be a motor only broker and has no intention of moving into other forms insurance. We focus all our energies on growing the areas that we know about rather than diluting our knowledge. The Girl Motor team is young, ambitious and above all determined to be the best.

Turnover of the company

Our expectations are that we will turnover £50,000,000 by 2005, our growth projections should take us there. This is likely to be 70% motorcar, 18% bike, and 12% vans

Predictions for the Future

We have ambitious plans for our expansion with car, van and bike motor insurance. Our customers like the way we trade and we are keen to role it out to other customers. Unlike other companies, we will call people up when it suits them most and talk them through their motor insurance.

Whilst being an online Internet based company, we appreciate that customers still want paperwork such as cover notes and policy booklets (unlike some other cheap motor insurance retailers who ask you to download paperwork)
